Daily car parking is easily accessed by US 60 (Mt Sterling Rd) across from the entrance to JMM Country-Fest. The car parking lot will open at 12 noon on Friday, 8 am on Saturday. All lots close one hour after the end of show each night. Over-night parking is not permitted. All vehicles will be towed 2 hours after the show ends, at the owner’s expense. Any illegally parked vehicle or vehicle parked in an unauthorized area will be towed. NO tailgating in the parking area please.
JMM Country Fest is proud to bring you a weekend full of great music, food and excitement for everyone! Please do your part to keep it safe and fun for all. The following general information, procedures and regulations have been devised for your own safety and protection. Strict enforcement of all laws and regulations will be necessary to ensure that everyone enjoys their experience while at John Michael Montgomery’s Country-Fest.
* No refunds or exchanges on ticket purchases. * NO COOLERS IN THE CONCERT AREA. NO EXCEPTIONS. NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 CAN CONSUME ALCOHOL ANYWHERE ON THE JMM COUNTRY FEST SITE. ZERO TOLERANCE ON UNDERAGE DRINKING. You must produce identification if anyone on the staff requests to see it during the weekend and be removed from the premises if you REFUSE do so. *Upon arriving at JMM Country-Fest, you will be given a wristband. This wristband will either be for Friday, Saturday or the whole weekend. Your JMM Country Fest wristband MUST be worn at all times. Anyone not wearing a wrist band will be removed from the festival grounds and will have to purchase another ticket/wristband to return to the festival grounds. JMM Country-Fest is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets/wristbands, personal injury, theft, loss, or damage to personal property. Tickets/wristbands lost or stolen cannot be replaced or refunded. * No seat markers like flags or similar objects that may obstruct the view of the crowd sitting behind you. Security personnel are on duty around the clock throughout the grounds for the entire weekend. Your full cooperation with them will be greatly appreciated. Please report any incident requiring attention to either a uniformed Law Enforcement Officer or to any Event Staff personnel. In case of any emergency dial 911.
NO COOLERS will be allowed in the concert area. Absolutely no glass containers, funnels or "beer bongs", metal flag poles, knives, firearms, fireworks, cooking grills, or motorized vehicles, motorized carts or motorized dollies are permitted on the festival grounds, as well as other items at management's discretion. Non-pressurized spray bottles and squirt guns with finger pump type action are the only water devices permitted. Please use only water in these devices and do not spray anyone without their consent. Any items confiscated will not be returned.
Completely equipped ambulances and a Medical Facility Tent are located near the first entrance of Lykins Park. Please make note of its location when you arrive. The Medical Facility Tent is staffed and equipped to handle minor injuries, accidents and other emergencies. There is no fee for emergency medical services received on site. In the event of a problem, look for the Medical Staff for assistance. Over the counter medicines will not be provided at the Medical Facility. Such items as aspirin, sun-screen, etc. may be purchased at the JMM General Store.
NO COOLERS will be allowed in the concert area. RV and Tent campers are allowed to have coolers, but cannot bring them into the concert area. A wide selection of your favorite foods and beverages are available, including: pizza, steak and sausage sandwiches, burgers, fries, Italian food, fish, pastries, ice cream, fruit, coffee, soft drinks, etc. Beer and ice are sold at the Beer Garden ONLY. (Beer will not be sold to anyone under the age of 21 - Proof of age will be required.) There is also a JMM General Store providing film, suntan lotion, water, etc.
Pets are NOT PERMITTED on the JMM Country-Fest grounds. Anyone found to be in possession of a pet on-site will be evicted. No refunds given.
Photos are permitted at JMM Country-Fest. Video cameras and audio tape recorders are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated. Any tape, memory card, SD cards confiscated will not be returned to the owner or operator. Digital video will be deleted from device.
Port-a-jons have been conveniently placed throughout the Festival Grounds. Please help keep JMM Country-Fest grounds litter free - put your trash in the provided trash receptacles.
All local, state and federal laws are to be obeyed. NO COOLERS will be allowed in the concert area. Patrons under the age of 21 are not permitted to consume any alcoholic beverage while on the JMM Country-Fest grounds. Providing a minor with alcohol is also illegal. Use of illegal drugs, drunken and/or obnoxious activities and other forms of misbehavior will not be tolerated. All persons attending JMM Country Fest do so at their own risk. No liability is assumed by JMM Country Fest, managers, promoters, sponsors or others. Persons engaging in violent, obscene or unruly behavior will be immediately ejected from the festival site, or parking lots, and may be subject to arrest. No refunds will be given.
Selling of any unauthorized merchandise or services is prohibited while on the JMM Country Fest grounds. Anyone caught engaged in any such activity will be prosecuted. Anyone found to be in violation of any law or regulation may be subject to prosecution and will be evicted from the event without refund of ticket. JMM Country-Fest is an outdoor rain or shine event; therefore, you will have Mother Nature to contend with. Here is a brief listing of some things you might consider bringing along to make the event more comfortable & pleasurable for you:
Blanket or tarp for ground cover Lawn chair / chaise lounge Sunglasses, sunscreen, hat (for the hot & sunny days) Rain gear, warm / dry clothes (for the cool evenings or rainy days) Spray bottle (to cool down with and/or self defense against outlaw squirters) Comfortable shoes (JMM Country Fest is a big place, you'll do a lot of a lot of walking ) Moist towelettes (for your trips to the portable toilets) Tylenol, Ibuprofen, etc. (When the sun or the partying gets to ya') Camera (you will see some memorable sights at JMM Country Fest!!) If you like to travel light, we do have food & drink concessions throughout the site. NO COOLERS will be allowed in the concert area. We have booths where you can buy official JMM Country-Fest souvenir items, as well as Artist souvenir items. We also have a “JMM General Store" tent where you can pickup various supply items during your stay, such as ice, cold drinks, film, first aid & personal hygiene, etc. See you at John Michael Montgomery’s Country-Fest 2012 “Central Kentucky’s Music Event of the Year!” JMM COUNTRY FEST has approximately 75 on-site “primitive” camping spaces that are 15 X 25 in size and approximately 75 RV sites that are 70 X 25. All campgrounds are extremely open and rolling fields with limited road access. All persons camping in or utilizing JMM campground facilities do so at their own risk. No liability is assumed by owners, managers, promoters, sponsors or others.
What are the Arriving Procedures and Hours? JMM campgrounds open on the Thursday prior to the Event at 12 PM. Admittance into the campgrounds runs from 12 pm. to 8 p.m on Thursday and Friday 7 AM to 12 Noon. Please arrive during these specified loading hours. Please follow the signs located along US 60 directing you towards the camping and RV sites. Campers are parked in the order they arrive. What do we receive with our pass? Upon your arrival, you will receive one camping permit for each camping space purchased. This camping permit must be displayed on the camping unit. Arrive only in the vehicle(s) which require Camping Permits. Any camping unit towing a trailer will require 2 camping permits. Cargo, flatbed and utility trailers will not be permitted, unless towed by a normal passenger vehicle. What are we allowed on our space? Only one motorized vehicle is permitted for each space, except any vehicle pulling another licensed motor vehicle with a legal tow bar. No tents are permitted with self-contained camping units. If you are camping in a tent, you are allowed a maximum of ONE tent per site. All tents will be required to have an official JMM Country Fest tag attached at all times to the outside zipper pull. Each tent found not having an official tag will be charged the full gate price for camping (no exceptions will be made). Can I leave the site once I arrive? Any vehicles and /or RV that enters JMM Country Fest Campgrounds must remain inside the festival grounds. If you feel that you will need to come and go you must park your car in the Camper’s general parking lot across US 60. Vehicles or RV’s who leave the campsites once inside will not be allowed to re enter the campsite area any later than 2 pm on Friday and will forfeit their Campsite and any monies paid. JMM COUNTRY FEST reserves the right to re-sell any space left unattended overnight without a permitted camper. Signs or staking of areas is not acceptable. NO EXCEPTIONS. Campers losing their space forfeit all camping privileges without refund. Any person possessing counterfeit camping permits or return passes will be ejected without refund and may be subject to prosecution. Is there additional parking for extra vehicles? General parking areas are available for campers with an extra vehicle for an additional fee. A Camper’s General Parking pass will be displayed on the dash of these vehicles. Camping is not permitted in this area, and vehicles not displaying a Camper’s parking pass will be towed at the owner’s expense. Vehicles with Camper’s General parking passes will not be permitted to enter the campgrounds. Is there campground security? Additional security personnel are constantly roaming the grounds via cruiser or Golf Cart. Should you see any situation requiring attention, please bring it to the attention of security or any Law Enforcement Official. Can I have a cooler? Coolers are allowed in the camping areas, but not in the concert area. What if I need water? Please arrive with a full tank. Is there a daily trash pickup? For health and safety reasons, please contain all trash in plastic bags and place adjacent to your camper for daily pickup. Are we allowed to have campfires? Outdoor cooking may only be done with a barbecue unit or an enclosed cooking grill. Open fires are not permitted. Can I bring my pet? Pets are NOT PERMITTED inside JMM COUNTRY FEST grounds. Anyone found to be in possession of a pet on-site will be evicted. Are there port-a-jons? There are port-a-jon’s throughout the grounds for your convenience. All local and state laws and house rules are to be observed while camping at JMM COUNTRY FEST. Security personnel will exercise their own judgment concerning disruptive behavior. Non-pressurized spray bottles and squirt guns with finger pump type action are acceptable, as long as you don’t spray anyone without their permission. Other water-spraying devices are not! Security may remove any materials deemed inappropriate, ie: super-soakers, water balloon launchers, indecent displays, etc. Obnoxious behavior and indecent exposure will not be tolerated at any time. Private quad-runners, golf carts and other similar vehicles are prohibited. You will not be permitted to enter the grounds with any non-licensed motorized vehicle. |
